My inspiration is seeing the world as an artist. I see people and I don't label them as ugly or beautiful. I see how they see themselves in the mirror or the camera. How their hair sweeps more to one side than the other. How I would paint their eyes, like a deep pool of ocean. How their eyelashes complement their skin tone. I like the quote below because some people have a talent for art, yes. But what you see today is not what they started with. They had to work to get there, and some people don't realize that.

Window to the soul   My name is Niamh Keating and I am a ninth-grade student at Cheshire Academy. I have lived all around the world and I really enjoy art.    This piece is supposed to represent the view of different people. The squares are representative of windows, differently colored and sized because everyone sees things differently. I titled this piece “Window to the Soul” because there is a saying that ‘your eyes are the window to your soul’.  This piece is special to me because I've always had trouble drawing eyes, but I feel like I finally got it right this time.   Twyla Tharp’s “Creative Autobiography”  This is a great reflection exercise that puts you in touch with your own creative experiences.  Please answer the following questions:  1. What is the first creative moment you remember?  My seventh birthday, painting in a studio across the Pantheon, in Rome Italy. I was doing a copy of Henry Matisse's "The Goldfish" from 1912. 2.   What is Creativity? I think creativity is thinking in a different way. Creativity often comes from within you and around you.  Creativity joins people and makes them see clearer. Creativity starts rebellions and ends them.
